Dear friends!
Looking for differnt information for FVM I found some courses. I Suppose this collection will be rather useful. May be it would be good to open spiecial topic on CFD online. May be someone have something to add? Michail. 1) Partial Differential Equations by W. E. Well, my very little contribution to this commandable enterprise:
-3 "introduction to CFD", useful for beginners: www.aoe.vt.edu/~mason/Mason_f/CAtxtChap8.pdf www.mie.utoronto.ca/labs/MUSSL/cfd20.pdf www.math.jmu.edu/~jim/navierstokes.pdf -A paper on "interfaces and multicomponent fluids", posted by Mr. Junseok Kim a couple of months ago. www.math.uci.edu/~lowengrb/ RESEARCH/publications/enc_final.pdf |

And up to the next Your links there is full description
http://www.math.jmu.edu/~jim/compressible.html Although it's already compressible cases. I have the idea: to open special page, where anyone can place links to free-downloadable courses, articles and etc, sorted by main topics of CFD, applications, types of flows (inviscid, viscous, compressible, incompressible, laminar, turbulent) test cases for validation of models, and so on. Because sometimes use of ERCOFTAC or anything likewise impossible because of lack of money It would be great issue for poor begginers and first Year students, and may be not even for experts. How much time it take time to find by Google something suitable, and if there would exist such page, it would be nice Free CFD resorces, I appreciate CFD-online very much, but to use CFD-online resourses rather complicate. |
