My computer may get stuck while performing calculations. Has anyone encountered this problem? My Ubuntu version is 20.04, and the OpenFOAM version is v2206.

Hello,

If your computer freezes during a simulation, this may be due to unsufficient RAM space. When this occurs, memory is taken directly on the hard drive which transfer speed is considerably slower. You can check the amount of memory taken by your simulation with the top command under the %MEM column.
