Hi there,
This is Julio. I am new to OpenFoam and CFD. I have a very basic question but I am having a hard time trying to fix it. I have a very basic space I want o analyzed the temperature and air speed variations within. I have inlet boundaries and some other interior features. The problem occurs when generating the main boundary of the space the shape is similar to a semicircle but I simplified it with straight lines. However, when I run the OpenFOAM meshing it generates a mesh with very coarse edges and this gives me very strange results. I have marked in red how I think it should be to obtain more realistic results. Does anybody know why is this happening? which parameters should I modify to obtain a straight mesh? Thanks in advance. |

Maybe it helps, when you ask the question in the right subforum.
