Default Why face meshing and inflation can apply together ?

Hello, i am try to do flow analysis in pipe
i am using turbulent flow so i want to create inflation layer but it cannot be with face meshing.

here i attach the picture. can anyone here explain to me more details

You cannot use face meshing and inflation at the same time. You could try face meshing along with inflation by first inserting mesh method and select quad/tri and see if this gives you any result.

The best way to use "inflation concept" with face meshing is through "edge biasing". The biasing will ensure thinner cells near the wall.

Yes, i understand and know how to use edge sizing with biasing type, but i have dimension of sudden contraction snd sudden expansion where the larger diameter to small diameter with 90 degree angle. I dont know how to do edge sizing with so many edge, any tips
