Hi to all, i want to plot the thrust distribution along the propeller blade. I made the analysis of the whole propeller with reasonable results in fluent. But I don't know how to plot that graph (X-axis=blade section r/R, Y-axis=thrust N). Should i divide the blade to the sections and calculate the thrust in each section and plot, or is there a way to plot this chart parametrically.

Any help would be great

yes, I divided the propeller in the blade axis with contour by defining the variable as X, after that I created the user surfaces by using the From Contour option. Finally I created a table with force_y()@ User Surface 1 ...

Hi, I know it's been a while since this post, but if possible, can you explain this method in more detail?
I'm new to Fluent and need a thrust distribution along the blade for reporting.

thank you
