Hello,

After Setup, I am receiving this error and cannot proceed to the Solution.

Error:

(DP 0) The Setup component in Fluid Flow (Fluent) requires user input before it can be updated. For instructions on how to address the cell in its current state, click the blue triangle in the lower right corner of the cell in the Project Schematic.

Could you please explain the reason for this error?

Thank you!

What kind of simulation are you performing? Changing an angle/value from or to 0 can cause problems depending on the dimension definitions as you may be changing model topology. Also check your time step.

I am trying to analyze the velocity and pressure distribution around a helicopter with a defined velocity range(I defined min and max velocity). The helicopter faces the z-direction and I have set the velocity values for x and y direction to 0 and only give a value for z-direction.

I chose the front face of the enclosure(inlet) as velocity-inlet. 10 iterations have been done.

After displaying the velocity graph on setup and save everything I cannot proceed with the solution since the program gives this error.

I googled it and saw some replies like changing the file name, and I changed but seems like there is no difference.

I really don't understand the problem, I hope you can give an answer to it.

Thank you.

Best,

Some times this kind of error might happen because of file path with special characters or too long file path.

It is worth to try by moving the file to main drive (example E:\). Otherwise, initialize the solution one more time and start the calculation again.
