In the context of a turbulent boundary layer, I see the following names:
(1): viscous sublayer, buffer layer, logarithmic layer (2): Inner region, overlap region, and outer region My question is: I cannot understand what is the relation between (1) and (2)!! (My guess is: the inner region is the viscous layer, the overlap region is the buffer layer, and the outer region is the logarithmic layer) Is this correct? If they are the same, there are many terms? Thanks |
