I need to model a positive displacement gear pump

I am a design engineer at Hamilton Sundstrand in Rockford, IL. I have a need to study the filling characteristics of a gear pump. This problem will require the CFD code to handle a deformable mesh. Are any of the commercial codes capable of modeling this type of pump??

Have a look at
www.beilke-cfd.de/rotary.mpg The mesh there is not simply rotating but also otherwise deformed. |
