I created an Android app compatible with Google cardboard allowing the user to view air flow over an aircraft in 3D.
Please check out a video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPwRPW7eN1M
You can download the free app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...aftcfdvr&hl=en You need a midrange Android phone and a Cardboard compatible VR viewer (very cheap).
Aircraft was quickly modeled with OpenVSP and the CFD analysis was done with OpenFOAM (incompressible for now) , both of which are free. If you are studying or teaching Aerodynamics, this is a nice way to get a feel for how air flows over wings and bodies . Two angles of attack are modeled.
I extracted pressure and streamlines using Paraview, also free. App was created with Unity3D . I developed code to convert Paraview data to Unity format. So I can quickly drop any visualization in Unity and use the same camera rig
I'm wondering what else I should analyze next.

Hi, I'm doing a project on the unity software and I made an application to use the oculus rift. I have also done a sample car simulation on ANSYS. I need help to import the CFD post files to unity to visualise it in my application. Is it possible for you to help me out in this?

Hi,
Did you find a solution to this? Doing a similar project and really stumped with it, any help you could give would be really appreciated, thanks
