I need an suggestion as in which CFD software I should prefer. I have built a 3D model of a Steel Structure ( Solar Module mounting structure) in Solidworks premium 2011. Now, I would like to conduct CFD analysis on this. I don't have any Flow simulation software licence. Please suggest which software should I use.
PS: Meshing could be done in Solidworks Simulation itself. |

Openfoam is a free, opensource CFD software. But unlike Flluent, you may have to spend some time to learn how to use it |

SU2 (su2.stanford.edu) is an interesting open source alternative to openfoam.
