Hi,
Can someone recommend a CFD textbook which explains explicitly what is the difference between a pressure based and density based solver, and explains the pressure-velocity coupling and spatial discretization schemes, how to make use of under-relaxation factors, CFL number and solution initialization. A practical CFD textbook, or maybe a presentation in English could do the job. Thank you |

I think the book of anderson may be best suited, it talks about all these methods and has a couple of solved examples in the end which will enable you to implement that by yourself. see "Computational Fluid Dynamics" by John D. Anderson

if you are looking basics about finite volume then start with versteeg's book an introduction to cfd - finite volume approach. then directly go through the zing's book fundamental algorithms in cfd and laney's book computational gas dynamics. also cfl3d notes which you can directly find on web is good source for practical applications. just start from begining and learn the fundamentals. it will not take too much time. when you stuck then ask someone.
