Dear friends,
i m simulating hydrodynamic journal bearing using gambit and fluent. i hav obtained static pressure distribution in the bearing. how to calculate load capacity using report option in fluent? thanks in advance. |

Is your rotor a selectable wall zone in the force report? If so, you can simply
select it and there your go. Depending upon how the bearing was loaded, i.e. via applied force or applied eccentricity, and in what direction, the output forces may be either in the fixed frame (fx,fy) or the rotating frame (fr,ft). |
