Hello,
I am currently running an external cfd on a front motorcycle geometry. It was created in solidworks, meshed with Harpoon and i m using fluent. The aim of the project is to see how skin friction varies with surface roughness of the model. I have completed some of analysis already, but i have no idea how to verify the my obtained results, because i cant find any data on such researches online. How is validation process is completed in such case? Regards, Gintas |

Verification and validation (V&V) of CFD is such a huge topic the best suggestion I can give you is to Google "CFD verification and validation." The simple answer is that you run your solver on simple model problems to verify that it can compute those correctly and then you run problems that approximate the thing you're trying to simulate (in this case a motorcycle). There's no easy answer.
