which is your main interest ? droples, bubbles, particles, cells, people, ... numerics, ... formulations, .. ...

any way: here you have some links

Very much appreciated.

Too many things, first am interested in the mathematical formulation and studying its type i.e. hyperbolic, elliptic or parabolic. After that try to look for Riemann solvers in the numerical side. Then to see if I can get things with two-phase flow models. Can you tell me more about this last interest please…

what do you think os this ???

Regarding the mathematical formulation, you can start taking a look in the Barbashin equation:

Partial Integral Operators and Integro-Differential Equations ISBN:0824703960 Appell, Jurgen /Kalitvin, Anatolij S. /Zabreiko, P. P.

For a practical approach you can read Ramkrishna, D. (2000). Population Balances, Theory and Applications to Particulate Systems in Engineering.

Numerical solvers: Finite-element methods for steady-state population balance equations. M. Nicmanis, M. J. Hounslow, AIChE Journal

Least squares, http://www.nt.ntnu.no/users/jakobsen...index_LSQ.html

...

Application to two phase: The multiple velocity multiple size group (NxM MUSIG) model for poly-dispersed multiphase flows Shi J., Zwart J.P., Frank Th., Rohde U., Prasser H.-M. : Research Report, FZ Rossendorf, Germany

Lafi, Reyes, General particle transport equation. Final Report. OSU-NE-9409. 1994

good luck

ashar_md2001 is on a distinguished road
Hi ,
I' m new to PBM. Does anyone have notes how to model or go about in using PBM for Particles. This help will be highly appreciated.

regards
Ashar
