I appreciate your work and efforts to share the code. However, if possible can you port it to CPP. That will be helpful for beginners to go through CPP code.

My suggestion might that it should be advertised as Fortran's implementation of Simple 2D, but I don't get that someone request that it's ported to another language... Code owner is 'free' to code in whatever language he desires...

Also, I'd like the code to be ported to Julia
