there are a lot of images in my Word file that have increased its size. how can I reduce their size all together in Word? not one by one and using another software for decreasing the size of each one.
is it possible by Macros?how? could any body give an idea?

I guess you are talking about file size, not the geometric size, right?
In the newer versions, I dont know since when exactly, there is a simple way to reduce the file size with images. But please be very careful with this option and back up your original file in case you dont like the result. The process is irreversible. Under File, options, advanced, you can change the options for image size and quality. I have a german version installed, so the terms in english may be slightly different. Untick the box that reads "do not compress image files" and choose a resolution. If you cropped some very large images in Word directly, you can also tick the other option in that section to reduce the file size. Edit: This is the second search result for "word reduce image size" |
