I'm buying a new mobile workstation with that I'm looking to run some CFD simulation in the future with Ansys, Solidworks and auto cad.
The configuration it's the following one - GPU RTX 2000 ada generation - RAM 32 gb ddr5 - for what concern the cpu I'm undecided among an i7 13850HX or an i9 13950HX which one should I consider? Between the two there's a 412 euros price difference |

There is absolutely no benefit from the more expensive CPU. It has a bunch more E-cores, but still 8 P-cores.
It's not much use in desktop CPUs. And for mobile CPUs, power and thermal constraints further reduce the usefulness of high core counts. |
