Hello,
Building a workstation, I'm wondering whether I should go for higher frequency memory or lower latency memory. I mean, most often, these are in contradiction. Example: Which is faster?
Lastly, I read somewhere that one shouldn't choose Corsair Vengeance memories. Any justified reason for it? Thanks a lot! |

The 2133 has higher speed and should also have lower latency since those 11 clock cycles are at 2133 MHz.
2133 is definately faster and has more bandwidth. CPUpassmark.com has a lot of RAM benchmarks to check out. |

I did not remember these figures are clock cycles (was thinking about actual time)... Well... 11/9 = 1.222.. 2133/1600 = 1.333.. So, theoretically, 2133's latency should be ~10% lower than that of 1600. |
