Hi,

I want to simulate the injection of water droplets in the flow of hot air using discrete phase model. The idea is to use a curtain of water sprays to avoid the spread of heat from one part of the compartment to the other part (in case of fire).

I dont have any previous knowledge about DPM. So, for the start I have done the 2D simulation just to get the idea of how to do DPM. But when I want to define the "injection", the only option I have is the "inert" particle type. I guess it means that I wont have any vaporization of water droplets (law1) which is not correct.

I would be thankful if anyone can help me regarding this problem.

Thanks in advance.
Mona

well,It is really easy bro
just turn on 'species' in the model menu and then choose one of its options like 'species transport'.....then it's up to u to choose proper mixture and material properties..
