Hi all,
I want to simulate a steady-state flow in a constricted tube with laminar viscous model but with increasing Reynolds number or stenosis level, residuals didn't converge.please help me. |

Hi,
We need more information in order to help you : Dimension 2D or 3D Mesh quality (Mesh>Info>Quality) Boundary condition ... Send us your case if you can |

Dear laurentb,
Additional information are Fluid:blood Dimension: axisymmetric flow Boundary condition: velocity inlet, outflow, wall, axis. I examined another boundary conditions like that mass flow inlet and pressure outlet but residuals didn't converge. Mesh quality: I used quadrilateral elements. When i simulate the same problem with k-omega SST turbulence model, wall Y Plus obtained under unit (i.e. 0.6). Please give me an e-mail address until I send my case. |
