Default Floating point error-invalid number

Would any one know why they appeal the message "Floating point error-invalid number" whenever I try to shown the contour. Thanks so much.

Probably bad code. If it's yours, use a debugger to trap the error. If you bought it, report the error to your vendor.

Specifically, if it's your code and it's written in Fortran, check that all your functions/subroutines have IMPLICIT NONE in them.

If this is a commercial plotting package like tecplot make sure you're not passing it results from a failed CFD run. That's the message tecplot spits out when you try to plot results from a run that has blown up.

Hi, I have been receiving this messege since long time" floating error" I did contact fluent people and no one is replying to my question. Is there any body who can help me, or is there anyone who can give me the right contact info for fluent people. thanks

hi all, I had same problem in fluent with a difference that my geometry is bended tube and my fluid is petroleum that part of this non-newtonian liquid is evaporate and this is two phase flow model - mixture.
I solve this problem by change (x or y direction) vector direction for mixture to Normal boundary in boundary condition menu for inlet
and i use adaption to solve this problem.
of course some times the ram are fulled when iteration is done or cpu or hardware is weak. for more help or detail go to following links
