hi,
i am doing project on multiphase cfd models in gas -liquid packed bed reactor, currently i am using VOF model to study the pressure drop and liquid holdup variation in packed bed- in 2D. i was generated mesh in Gambit by using (dimension: 0.25m length and Id-12.5mm & diameter of particle 2m in side bed (particles are in non-overlapping position). I was started Fluent simulation by using this mesh but i am not getting simulation runs......can anybody suggest...is there any udf needed for vof model & how to proceed in fluent by using VOF.is there any Tutorial of VOF model related to Packed bed reactor.......send any link r mail related matter...... urgent.urgent...please send any information . thank u friend for u r suggestion
hi... i have arisen new problem, i am using k-e turbulence model in Multiphase VOF model, i want to write udf for surface tension source(source term in momentum equation)...how to write udf for that term contained, surface tension coefficient, gradient of volume fraction of phase. i am using AIR-WATER LIQUID SYSTEM having spherical particles of 2mm diameter in 2D,dp in FLUENT SOFTWARE. can anybody help me urgent............ i really thankful.............anybody |
