Hi
Actually I have a problem when i try to use Fluent post processing. It says go to "Run" and wirte "cmd" then write "fluent -t3", When i do it, it gives me an error " Fluent is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file". Please help me so that I can start the simulation. My system specification is 4GB ram, Intel Quad, 64 Bit Windows 7, Memory 400GB in C (where fluent is installed) and 400 GB in E (where I save the .dbs, msh files). Please Help Mohsin |

Please search the forum. Most likely, your PATH variable needs to be modified
(All Programs --> Fluent --> Set environment) |

You have to check to see where the exe file "fluent" is.
It is usually inside your fluent directory in "ntbin/ntx86". The directory could be named as "fluent 6.3" or "fluent.Inc" in your computer. |

I tried the method but was not successful until someone gave me a file named "mpich2". I dont clearly know what this might be but may be soomething which gives access to fluent parallel processing. After installing that it worked. Thank you for your replies by the way.

u can use parallel fluent by doing
right click on fluent desktop icon, on the fluent path add -tn (n=no of processor in CPU, e.g. -t2). for my computer it's C:\Fluent.Inc\ntbin\win64\fluent.exe -r6.3.26 2ddp -t4 |

The address that it worked is C:\Fluent.Inc\ntbin\ntx86\fluent.exe -r6.3.26 2d -t3 . I can change -t3 to -t4 but the cpu usage is going to 100% Thank you |
