Hi everybody, I am trying to simulate CNG Spark Ignition internal combustion engine. I am at the beginning stage please anybody send mesh file or tutorial which covers 1)Creating Spark Ignition internal combustion engine with inlet, outlet valves and piston. 2) Creating a sliding/moving mesh 3)Simulating a Spark Ignition internal combustion engine. If anyone have Plz send it to my email

I wont be giving out any mesh files like that so don't ask on that.
I had done some work on similar field. I have a long thread with all my doubts in it. You can check that . http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ans...ic-engine.html And from my experience, DON'T go for IC engine stimulation with valves, and all. Just select a simple (square) combustion chamber and try stimulation in that. If you are comfortable with that you can again go for more complicated ones. You most prob won't finish a complete stimulation from scratch in a year time( if you are doing your BE projects) |
