i am doing 2D simulations for wing in ground effect in airfoils. Am using naca 4412. no matter what meshing pattern i use, the cl values keep on decreasing with increasing angle of incidence for a particular ground clearance. can somebody help??? it's urgent!!!

Hiya,
If I'm not wrong, the WIG effect is due to 3d effects of the wing (i.e. the tip trailing vortices are partially blocked by the ground) and not 2d! So, your analysis would not show the effect in the first place. Good luck. |
