I was wondering if there was a way for me to take surface integral results and easily transfer them to excel so that the results are actually in independant cells. As it is I have to end up continually copying and pasting results and its a waste of time.

If you want to plot the pressure distribution along a rake for example, go to the XY plot in Fluent but click write to file. This way, the plot button will change to write. Now save the file with .dat extension.

Open Excel, then go to open the file. But change the file type to all files, not just excel files or it won't see the file. At this point you will have to go through a few stages in excel before it read the data in. If you want data in individual cells, then I think its the second stage in excel where you can tick boxes such as space and colon etc. Just tick space then click finish.

Now, hey presto you have your data for usual manipulation in Excel.

Sorry I should have specified this in more detail in the original post, but the data I'm interested in is the area-weighted average, but there doesn't seem to be an option in the xy plot menu to select the area weighted average. Any way I can do this?

I am assuming you want to plot your area averaged value as a function of flow time/iteration. In this case, you will go to solve --> monitors --> surface monitors and choose whichever variable you want here. The xy plot does not provide area averaged because it plots variables as a function of a particular direaction. Once you write out the surface monitors you can follow the procedure mentioned by Carlos. It should work.
