Hi I am simulating 3d flow past circular cylinder by standard k-e model. Here i want to find turbulent reynolds stress, Is there any way to find? Thanks and regards, bye Ayapan.

Hi ayapan,
you can find out turbulence reynolds stress (uv) with this formula. uv = -Vt* du/dy Vt= turbulent viscosity regards/ Pavitran D |

hi pavitran
its working. fine, do you have any idea about fluctuating part and modeled part? can you tell which one (fluctuating or modeled)we are getting by the method you told? sorry for disturbing thank you and regards AYAPAN |

Hi,
I think the 'uv' shear stress which we get from k-e is the modelled one. Regards/ Pavitran D |
