hi, I have a cilynder surface and I want to plot the pressure along a line of lateral surface, therefore on a curved line (an arc) of the lateral surface.I have a 3d symmetric domain.I need to define a curved line not necessarly on the boundary but about 1mm inside the boundary.
how can I define a curved line in Fluent domain? I know how to create isosurface or line, but not a curved line. thanks a lot antonietta |

You could create an isosurface with constant cell-wall-distance and then clip a surface with constant x (if x-axis is the axis of the cylinder).

Hi, I need to know the shortest distance of wall from the particle location. I know I can use C_WALL_DIST(c,t) this, but how do I connect from: px=P_POS(p)[0] ; py=P_POS(p)[1] ; pz=P_POS(p)[2] ; ?? |
