Dear ap & galeazzo,

Thank you very much for the advice. It is my fault that I didn't specify my problem clearly.

I am working on build a sediment transport model. Generally, the sand will transport in two ways: bed load transport and supspended transport. The bed load tranport rate can be calculated directly with bed shear stress. But for suspended sediment transport rate, I need to solve the transport equation in terms of the sediment concentration.

My question is: Can I use Fluent to solve this problem?

Thanks again!

Li
