Hello everyone,
I have a case which includes humid air flow heating in copper pipe and assigning humid air material into the volume in Ansys Fluent. I know that humidity ratio which is x=mass_H2O/mass_dry_air is constant parameter during the process and Relative humidity changes. So for the heat transferred to the fluid the entalpy values at inlet and outlet are needed. The question is how to define this property as multiphase or single phase easily as I understand many of us have questioned this for decades in internet but nobody could not give a reasonable and easy way to implement this in ANSYS or Openfoam step by step either by providing UDF or guide. I kindly request from you to help me about this issue which I will really appreciate if you help me. P.S. the case does not exceeds 60 celcius degree as outlet temperature . |

All you need to do is provide the an EOS for the specific heat. For example, a polynomial in T. It's straightforward. Very easy.

There is completely unreasonable and very difficult to implement example in the user''s guide that has existed for decades
Or are you asking how to curve fit something in excel? |
