Hello guys,
I want to simulate a multi-tubular reactor. The first step was to simulate only one tube of this reactor to validate the model. (Simulation A) Then I will need to simulate the whole reactor. (Simulation B) The geometry in simulation B contains 7 of the same geometries in simulation A. My question is there any way to get the results from my first simulation and use it in my second simulation (this will allow me to gain time )? I would appreciate any hint. Thank you |

1) Under File->Interpolate you can "write" the solution of simulation A.
if the mesh of simulation B is referenced to the same origin coordinates as of simulation A, then you can: 2) Open a fresh session in Fluent, load your mesh of simulation B and read the fields that you just saved. Again you can find this under File->interpolate "read". |
