Hello.
I'm simulating compressible Sonic jets. I'm using RKE turbulent model for this. RKE model has been showing promising results. When validating with my experiments using centreline pressure decay plots, I noticed the first shock is not captured i.e. the plot shows a straight line (no total pressure gradient) upto certain distance downstream of exit. Rest of the plot holds good with the experimental findings. I tried adapting the mesh also, but couldn't capture the sharp gradients as was observed in experiments. Is there any way to solve this? Thank you. |
