Hello,

I am simulating a wavy fin channel with periodic inlet-outlet BC conditions. I am trying to mimic the plot below for the un-slotted wavy fin (shown by the black line): Which shows the periodic component of the pressure (Px) normalized by Kinetic energy:

From the theory, the periodic pressure can be calculated using:

Px(periodic pressure) = P+(DeltaP)*x

To do this, I created a custom field function: (P +( periodic-pressure-gradient*x)), I have used the periodic-pressure-gradient that is auto-generated in the report when giving the periodic condition. I plotted these Px results to get:

As this is the periodic pressure; the end and the start point should be the same as seen in the first chart. I have compared and validated the other results, so I know the model is correct. I am only facing issues with this chart.

Is there any other way to get the periodic component of the pressure?

The pressure if you do nothing in Fluent is the periodic pressure.
