Hello guys
I have done a combustion project, Methane/H2/Air, which I have used default chemical mechanisms in Fluent for reactions and my simulation results was good enough. Now, I want to know how can I cite them in my paper? I didn’t find anything about their references in Fluent Theory Guide. (I have used Methane-air-2Steps+hydrogen, Species Transport, EDC concept, sst-Turbulence model, Do radiation model) Thanks in advance Mohsen |

I don't have Fluent open but check if it is the same as Dryer & Glassman.

Thanks for your reply, the paper that you sent, has some interesting chemical mechanisms. But, unfortunately the mechanisms which mentioned there, are different with Fluent. |

Well then can you write out the rate equations you are using... I already took a guess...

Hi man,
Just my input: if you used the default settings in fluent and everything worked, that is what you should write in the paper, period. You don’t need to necessarily cite the guy who gave the arrhenius constants. Feels to me you are chasing butterflies |
