Dear all,
Happy New Year! I have a problem in the solution. The solution (residuals, Velocity contours) is different between the versions of Ansys 18, Ansys 18.1 and Ansys2020. All conditions (Boundary conditions, Methods, residuals, UDF etc) are same. I am running a case (using parallel processing) in Windows 10 (Ansys 18.1) of 5 processes and Linux (Ansys 18 and Ansys 2020 R2) in HPC of 16 processes. Will number of processes cause this problem? Kindly help me in this regard. Please have a look at the residuals in the attachments. Thank you. |

Yes, number of processors, different version and operative systems can give slightly different results
