Hi everyone!!!

I am working in the field of laminar Premixed Methane air combustion where I'm simulating premixed flame over a 2D slot burner using Species Transport model in Fluent. In simulation of flame I'm using different reduced mechanism ( 16,17,19,25,30,35 species) with Chemkin-CFD solver for solving Chemistry. But I am getting higher flame temperature than Adiabatic Flame Temperature for given equivalence ratio.

Also,if I use Explicit Source chemistry solver instead of Chemkin-CFD solver, then temperature of flame is well within range but computation becomes very slow.

Please suggest something so that my computation speed increases without compromising the accuracy/ quality of simulation result.

Thanks
