Hello there, I am a new Ansys FLUENT and Chemkin user and I am needed to perform a Hydrogen and Methane flame combustion simulation for my project. The problem I have faced is that once I tried to import the chemkin files for the species transport, the Fluent software just closes and return to Workbench without showing any error. How do I transport the chemkin files?

Thank you for your assistance and stay safe.

P.s: I saw from other posts that it could be due to the chemkin file type (which should be in .db format), if so how do convert my .txt files to .db? The Chemkin reaction mechanism files has been attached in this post.

vinerm will become famous soon enough
The file extension does not matter. Open Fluent standalone, i.e., outside WB, and then try to import mechanism file along with thermodynamic database. It should report some error.

I managed to open the file by using Fluent independently, thank you and appreciate your help.
