Hi all,

I have a problem when launching simulation on ansys fluent. I use transiant, K-omega SST. When I launch simulation I get this error:

Error: Error writing "| gzip -2cf > SYS-1-00000.dat.gz".
Error Object: #f

any suggestions as to why this is happening ? Thanks in advance !

Could be unable to access dir or no write permissions

Could be the gnuzip bug on Windows 10.

Try not using .gz

Fluent gives this error if there is not enough RAM to compress the file. Try writing as unzipped, i.e., without .gz. If it still doesn't write, then there is something wrong with the setup or initialization.

Fluent writes files as per the extension provided by the user. If you provide extension as .cas.gz or .dat.gz then it tries to zip the file. If the extension is given as .cas or .dat then the file is written in unzipped form.
