Hey everyone,

i try to simulate a PEM fuel cell with the pemfc addon (version 2019 R3). First i simulate a fuel cell with the pem tutorial and it works well. Now i changed the dimensions of the geometry (my model includes 1 channel for h2, o2, and 2 cooling channels). I think there is a problem with my inlet conditions, because i always recieve an error (floating point).

Does anyone knows how to calculate the inlet massflow rate for hydrogen and oxygen??

Thanks

U (inlet)=zeta *I/nF*A(MEM)/xi*RT/P*1/A(channel)
where zeta =stoichiometryratio (Anode and cathode)
n= 2(anode) ,4 (cathode)
xi=mass fraction (Oxygen and hydrogen)
R=8.314
T=353K
P=101325pA
A(MEM)=L*B(M2)
A(CHANNEL)=L*B(M2)

I HOPE THIS WILL WORK ?
