I was wondering how I can set up a parametric study so I can test various overlaps, gaps and angle of attacks using fluent for 2D to optimize the set up. I am using SolidWorks as my CAD program. I know how to set up parameters in ANSYS but I am wondering if I can somehow link my equations and dimensions from SolidWorks to ANSYS. Thanks.

Does this video answer your question?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53iYEVSNp-Q "This video shows how to import parameters from a external cad system to ansys workbench" (by Rakesh Potluri)

There is additional discussion of how to import the parameters into DesignModeller or SpaceClaim here:
