my case is a 3d collector with glass, cover and insulated part.how should i named these parts? selecting face and then select all the face of collector, glass, cover and isulated part or select body and selecting 4 parts?

Hi far,

I think that you choose your name selection based on how you want to apply it in the next step. For example, your boundary conditions are likely applied to a specific face, and not a whole body so in that case naming faces would be better. If you are trying to specify a material property to a specific body, you would probably want to name a body. I think if you name all the faces of a body, you won't be impacting the interior of the body.

Hope that helps

Identify the bodies to which you want to assign materials and name them individually. You can select surface and edge for boundary conditions. That's the difference.
First of all, make a single part in Design Modeler and say Shared Shared Topology sonra then click erate Generate ya or if it is an assembly in SpaceClaim, don't forget to make Shared Topology by clicking on the assembly. Nodes are linked with each other
