Good day,
I'm currently doing some 2D airfoil simulations using the Transition SST turbulence model in Fluent. After doing a couple of simulations for Low Reynolds numbers (60.000-100.000) and not obtaining very satisfactory results, I found a couple of papers in which they carry out the same simulations I'm trying to do, but with modified constants in the turbulence model that adapt better to cases with airfoils, since these two constants have been determined for flat plate simulations. The modified constants are the ones in PICTURE1. Now I know this migth seem like a very stupid question (I've only been using Fluent for 4 months so far I must add) but, to which of the constant in the Fluent display, PICTURE 2, belongs the second modified constant (highlighted in green)? It is clear the first one, C_thetat, which one is it in the display, but the second one, Sigma_thetat, which one is it? Many thanks in advance |

sigma is normally a turbulent schmidt number, which is equivalent to a turbulent Prandtl number.
It might be the Re_theta. Prandtl # |
