Water flow in a pipe from P1 to P2, where P1>P2. The pipe is rotating about the axis shown in figure. How to analyze such a problem!

In addition to the frictional loses, the flow has to overcome the centrifugal force!


what is the chemical name of alum

No, moving frame are only moves the coodinate system -> sliding wall, no effect of the mass moment of inertia from the fluid.

Even easier is to just go to boundary conditions and make it a moving wall. No need for the mesh to move.


Moving reference frame does not provide the motion. But you probably should use a moving reference frame anyway for post-processing purposes so that you do not need to decompose the velocity field into the rotating part and relative part.
