I want to investigate Jet in Hot Co-flow (JHC) burner with the Eddy Dissipation Concept (EDC) model. Reactants are (H2 and CH4)
As I found out, Species Transport Model should be chosen for EDC model. But if we select Species Transport Model, How can we define Methane and Hydrogen as Reactants? |

which software do you use?
I work with Ansys fluent and there you defin eyour reactants in the "materials"-list and then as boundary conditions. |

After selecting Species Transport and Volumetric options, there is a list of mixture materials, but none of them is Methane + Hydrogen If we select Methane-Air, Hydrogen in not available in "Select Boundary Species" |

At Setup->"materials" you have to define a new mixture.
