I am going to simulate solar still using nanofluid. upper a glass surface and constant temp. lower is a wood surface of constant temp.VOF model is used.now my question is: what is the phase interaction I will provide? water to vapor and vapor to water or only the first? and also is there any option to put latent heat of vaporization in ANSYS? and if I add nanoparticle with water then is it possible to do with VOF? or mixture model is necessary?

To use VOF you need to have 2 or more immiscible fluids. Check out the link below: https://www.sharcnet.ca/Software/Flu...ug/node881.htm -BB |

Also , you need the implementation of phase change in VOF model. There are a lot of papers & references for this purpose. Good luck. M.Asghari |
