Guys, I am working on simulation of Phase change material in Ansys Fluent. I have used Pressure based solver, transient calculation, Viscous laminar flow and incompressible ideal gas law for density calculation. I would like to know how can i activate the gravity effect in my simulation?
I wanted to get the simulation with gravity effect for laminar flow, like the image file i have attached below. I have also attached my simulation image file for contours of liquid fraction. Please help me to sort out this issue. |

There is a gravity switch in the setup panel of fluent!

In Fluent V15 you turn on gravity in the operating conditions dialogue box. I assume it is the same for Fluent V18. Or using text interface it is define/operating-conditions gravity (I think).
