Hello everyone,
I am analyzing an electro-hydraulic valve (flow driven analysis), for which I need to calculate the average total pressure required at the inlet surface. I was able to plot a contour, which shows the minimum and maximum values of total pressure at the selected surface, but I need the average of those pressure values. The function calculator provides me with average static pressure at the selected surface. Is there a way in ANSYS Fluent 19.0, to calculate average total pressure over a surface?

Isn't it straightforward?
When you go to report => surface integral => whatever average you want , choose pressure as the field variable and there should be options for static, dynamic, & total pressure. |
