Hey Guys,

Sorry if this is a stupid question; but I want to know if I can make a circular surface in Fluent/CFD-Post.

I tried using iso-clip as other people mentioned on CFD-Online forums, but no luck. I understand that iso-clipping makes a rectangular plane but not a circle.

Any other way, or shall I just draw a part in geometry & use it as an "internal" BC?

Cheers

If you are using fluent 17 or advance version, then you can make circular surface in geometry and export that geometry as stl file and the you can imprint that stl file in the fluent for the post processing.
