Guys
I'm trying to inject N2 into air using a nozzle. here is a sketch of my domain. At nozzle inlet, we are suppossed to inject N2 into air as the ambient fluid. How can I do this? |

I think you can use Species model and define a mixture of N2 and air then at the inlet you can define the mass fraction of N2.

Dear Roh,
I suggest you read the tutorial for the species model and everything would be clear to you. However, if you active the species model you have to go to the material and there you have to choose N2 and air as the mixture components (N2 should be the first component!!). Then you can go to the boundary conditions and from the species tab of the inlet boundary condition, you would be able to assign proper values to the mass fraction of each species. If the species tab is not active, check the cell zone. you have to change the fluid to the mixture. I hope it helps. |
