Dear All
I am a PhD student who is carrying out FSI of channels with fluid flow. My question is: In the algorithm for dynamic mesh update in FLUENT, among the various smoothing options, there is the option of "DIFFUSION". Is this "DIFFUSION" option valid for tet meshes only or is it valid for hex meshes as well? Please let me know. Thank you Anand |

Okay Thanks Sijal.
I understand that there are two settings for dynamic meshes, one is "global" other is "local", which is for each zone. What is the difference between global settings and local settings for dynamic mesh? Do we need to define both? Or do we need to define only one? Also, what is the precedence when both local and global settings are defined? Which one is followed? Please advise. |
